Our staff are exceptionally well qualified and trained to care for your loved one while you are away. We provide a safe and secure environment and have decorated our building so that our attendees will feel at home with us.
It is our goal to help improve the mental outlook and health of your family member entrusted to our care, by providing a day of fun and entertaining activity with their peers. Social interaction and forming bonds of friendship will help improve the well-being and health of the aging or home-bound adult.
We accept United Healthcare Community Plan (AmeriChoice) and Blue Care. For those that do not qualify for assistance through the CHOICES program, we accept private pay for services. In the day center, we are available for any amount of time, from just a few hours to a full day, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Our Home Services program is available 24/7 as per need, decided by the client’s MCO (Managed Care Organization).
What is it like at Caring Hearts of Dunlap? On any given day, you will hear a lot of laughter! We have FUN all day long! Our clients love being there and love being with each other!
In-Home Non-medical Services
Besides Adult Day Care, the other half of the services provided by Caring Hearts of Dunlap is our non-medical in-home service. This type of care is when we send a trained, professional caregiver into the home of our client to provide a care plan decided upon by their Care Coordinator. We provide care such as: light housekeeping, assistance with getting up in the morning, ambulation, transferring, toileting, showering, dressing and grooming; light errands; cooking light meals; laundry, medication reminders and observations; watching for and documenting changes in behavior or health, etc. We cooperate with the client’s healthcare professionals by alerting them to any significant changes or emergencies.
We are accepting applications for Home Care Staff. Applications may be picked up Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the day center located at 15227 Rankin Avenue in Dunlap, TN, or they may be downloaded from this website on the right sidebar. (Click on the link entitled “CHD Application”, print it and fill it out and then drop it off at the daycare center on Rankin Avenue.) We are located in the little shopping center across the street from the Post Office on Rankin Avenue, right next to the China Buffet restaurant.
